Rennes, a great place to study in the Greater West of France
Rennes, ville étudiante et durable

With more than 67,000 students across three university campuses and over 50 institutions of higher education, Rennes is and remains a student hub. Here, more than one in five residents is a student. This creates a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.

Ranked 3rd in L’Etudiant’s list of the best student cities and 1st in Thotis’s ranking, Rennes is undoubtedly an ideal city for academic success.

While Rennes is a quintessential student city, it is also renowned for its quality of life and its commitment to sustainable development. The Breton metropolis features prominently in numerous rankings: 3rd best city to live in, 2nd in the ranking of eco-friendly cities, 3rd in the 2022 Cycling City Barometer for cities with over 100,000 inhabitants, 1st best city for walking… One thing is certain: Here, you’ll love the environment as much as your surroundings.

Live, study, start a business

The Ker Lann Campus is located a few kilometers south of Rennes, in the town of Bruz. One of the campus’s strengths is the connection it fosters between schools and businesses.
